As British broadcasters vie to create the next most buzzed about drama on TV, actress Finn Atkins is about to play Charlotte Brontë in a one-off BBC period drama penned and directed by Happy Valley's Sally Wainwright.

Atkins, who's been appearing in British TV shows such as EastEnders, Peak Practice and Holby City since she was a child, is to star alongside Jonathan Pryce and Chloe Pirrie in To Walk Invisible, an eagerly anticipated programme which goes before the cameras this spring and charts the story behind the Brontë sisters and their much-loved novels.
